I am so grateful for Chris’s passion, dedication, and professionalism. He made things so much easier, and simpler through one of the toughest battles. Chris was very compassionate in every single thing he did during my case, and really showed that he cared and was with me 100%. No words can truly describe how grateful I am to Chris Grimes and his fantastic paralegal (Heather). But for me, they helped me through a truly trying time not only physically caused by the accident, but also for my mental well-being. If you have a personal injury, medical negligence, or accident case, it would be well worth your time to at the very least consult with Chris and find out for yourself if my statement here is true. **The following from this point are some of the details of my case for more context: To be frank, my accident is comparatively minor, especially to the type of cases that Grimes Law Group normally handles. I was fully aware of this and Chris did not sugar coat this either. But I was scared and desperate in finding help to navigate my first accident that involved another driver. Although the accident was not my fault and all evidence made that clear, I was a nervous-wreck having to figure out what to do next after the next on my own. The final straw was when my very own insurance company basically told me there was no point in pursuing anything further after repairs and exhausting my PIP. And if I did try to go after monetary compensation for the medical expenses beyond PIP, they said that I would be wasting a lot of time just to get maybe $1,000-$2,000, if lucky. I was so rattled by this call, that all the paperwork I started receiving from both the at-fault driver’s insurance company and my own seemed like only ammunition for them to use against me without me knowing how. In hindsight, my accident left me with permanent damage that I now have to deal with for the remainder of my life and all of that would have been likely downplayed if Chris was not there to advocate for me. He recognized my suffering and immense distress. He was willing to take on my case even though this was far from any “winning” case. It may be hard to believe when I say this for many people, but I truly did not care about winning or losing. It’s not that I was not in need of money, but it just meant the world to me (and my sanity) that someone was willing to go up to bat for me in my time of need. It’s really great to know there are still good people out there in this profession. I will never forget what Chris and Heather have done for me. Thank you again and many many times more!

In 2019, I was hit by a car and was seriously injured. I got an ambulance ride and spent 6 hours in the ER and the next day I contacted Grimes Law Group. From the beginning, Chris was empathetic and informative about my rights and the legal process in Washington. I chose to sign his on-contingency retainer (so I paid nothing upfront), which was a single page written in plain English, and immediately Heather (the paralegal) began the process of coordinating payment of my medical bills and damage to my bicycle. I spent 6 months recovering from surgery and going to physical therapy, and Heather made sure the at-fault driver’s insurance paid those bills. Then I suffered another shoulder dislocation which was caused by the car crash, and I had two more surgeries plus a longer and more painful recovery/rehabilitation period. Once again Heather and Chris were invaluable in ensuring the bills got paid and not out of my pocket. Along the way there were numerous delays by everyone involved — the insurance companies and the medical providers — but Heather and Chris kept me informed on the process, and more importantly they handled everything so I didn’t have to worry about a thing! In the end, we settled the claim for very nearly the insurance policies’ liability limits and in addition to covering almost six figures in medical bills, I received a healthy payout for my pain and suffering, time off work, etc. Heather and Chris insulated me from all the (rather extensive) bureaucracy, and knowing that burden was in good hands really helped my mental health throughout the very challenging two-and-a-half year process. My experience with Chris and Heather has led me to tell all my friends that they should *always* get a lawyer if they’re injured and need to deal with insurance companies.

Chris and Heather did amazing work on my case! I sustained injury’s from helping out a local government employee in 2019. Not knowing where to go and how to proceed with getting reimbursed for medial costs and lost wages my employer recommended Chris Grimes at Grimes Law Group so I made initial contact with his firm. Going into the process of filing a claim against a government entity I had no idea how this would go. From the on-set Chris could tell that I had a strong case against this local government entity. Chris was happy to help me through the process of setting up a case and proceeding, even though the case could take a long time. All the while encouraging me to try and relax and just heal my injuries. Chris took the time to explain, in detail, how my case could go, what could and could not happen. With all details in hand Chris filed first claim and my initial case was automatically denied with no explanation as to why it was denied. The whole case was “radio silence” from the beginning! After 2 some years of working and waiting patiently and going through the government entity’s processes we were finally able to settle my claim at a level I never thought would be possible. When the case settled Chris was very compassionate as to the weight of this case and the stressful and emotional journey this case had taken me on. When all was said done Chris put it best “from complete denial, through litigation and then a great result!” I would highly recommend Chris and Heather as your legal team to get you through an injury case. They are both patient and explain every legal matter in detail so you know whats happening and the wont give up on you!
